Storm Alumni Sean Kazmar('06) was recently called up to take the place of injured Khalil Greene. Kazmar got the call from AA San Antonio where he was about to get ready for a long road trip. Read more here.
The Padres just signed their number one draft pick of 2008. His first assignment will be with the Lake Elsinore Storm. Allan Dykstra, from Wake Forest will join the Storm on Tuesday August 19. Read more.
Sunday August 31 is the last Sunday of the Storm's 2008 Regular Season. That means that it is the last day for the Best Buy Kid's Club. So the Storm would like to invite Kid's Club Members out to The Diamond for a pizza party in the 1st base picnic area. Read more.
